Since 2009 Gwen has written three books, two of which she also illustrated. Since she is passionate about promoting  and sustaining a healthy environment for people and wildlife, two of her books contain relevant environmental messages. She will periodically offer free "Meet the Author" presentations for grade 1's, 2's, and 3's as she is determined to spread  the pertinent environmental messages  to as many children and parents as possible.  She is currently serving on the Board for Living Green in Barrie, Ontario where she prepares relevant information for www.livinggreen.info. She is passionate about photography, drawing, painting,  and eco-friendly veggie and ornamental gardening. She is presently creating illustrations for her next children’s book which also has an environmental focus.
